Cooks prepare food in restaurants, institutional kitchens, private homes or with caterers. They prepare, season and cook dishes, and may also order supplies, keep records and accounts, price items on menus or even plan menus.

Paths for Food Preparation Workers
Food Preparation Workers assist with food preparation and kitchen safety protocols as directed by cooks, food supervisors or chefs. They prepare ingredients for dishes to be cooked and served including meats, seafood, vegetables, desserts and drinks.
